Karachi or Carachi

Karachi or Carachi is known as the "city of lights". It is the largest city of Pakistan in terms of population. It was the first capital city of Pakistan. It has a land area of 3,527 km² with a population of more than 10 Million people. It is the motherland of the great founder of Pakistan "Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah". It is also the main seaport and financial center of the country. People from across the country move to karachi to find better employment opportunities and is the main business center of the country. 



The weather of karachi remains constant throughout the year, which is the main reason why people from across the country migrates to karachi. June and july are the most hottest months in which temperature rises to maximum 45°C. December and January are the coldest months in which temperatures falls to 15°C.

Karachi is also known for its beautiful places to visit. Some of the visiting points in karachi are Mizar-e-Quaid, Sea View, PAF Museum, do darya, Alladin Family Park, Karachi Safari park, Dreamworld Resort and many more. Most of the people like to hang out with their families and you will find a great rush of people during the holidays. 

Halwa puri is one of the famous breakfast food in karachi. You must visit Dhamthal Aisha Manzil if you ever want to have Halwa Puri in breakfast. You will find so many food streets in Karachi where you will see people serving delicious foods.  Kolachi is one of the famous place in karachi where there are so many restaurants and hotels. These restaurants are of high quality and people belong to upper class mostly visit this place. 

Karachi is also famous for its crowded public buses. Due to this old bus service people have to face difficulties reaching their destinations. Therefore people prefer to travel by rickshaws which is why the roads of karachi are heavily jammed.   

There are three ways that you can reach Karachi. You can choose to travel by bus, by train or by air. Bus service is available from all the cities of the country to Karachi. It will not cost you more if you choose to travel by bus but you will not feel comfortable travelling for hours. Train service is available from Karachi to Faisalabad,Multan,Lahore and Rawalpindi. Train service has been improved in the last years and now you can travel very comfortably in an Air Conditioned Business class train. You can also choose to visit by air from Islamabad, lahore, peshawar and Quetta. Jinnah International Airport is the biggest international airport in Karachi. 

In Karachi you will come across all type of people. The people of Karachi calls themselves "Karachites" and are very honest and hardworking people. Karachi is home for everyone and it welcomes all the people who want to make their fulfill their dreams. Karachi is the city of opportunities and if think you can do something great you must visit Karachi.
